When Did Happy Wheels Come Out?
The browser game came out on 4 June 2010. Wikipedia and speedrun.com both use that day. The official site no longer has a 2010 post you can open, so that date is carried by those two sources.

Where to playI rebuilt the timeline from Total Jerkface news and store records. Apple’s metadata says 19 August 2015 at 20:16 UTC, while Wikipedia gives 20 August. The official 21 August post describes being number one a day after launch. I retain 19–20 August and identify the differing records; I have not established that time zones alone explain the discrepancy.
Timeline
Wheelchair Guy as a character sketch goes back to 2006 on the community wiki. That is earlier than the public game.

How old is the game in 2026?
From 4 June 2010 to 1 October 2026 is 16 years. The Steam release is a new build of that game, not a sequel. People asking whether it is “official now” are usually reacting to the Steam page. It was already official on Total Jerkface. Steam is Fancy Force selling a port, credited to kwlsh.
