Steam vs Browser vs Mobile

Steam is the paid, ad-free Windows and Linux port. The browser game is free at totaljerkface.com. The phone apps are free with ads, and the Android level editor is on hold.

Where to play

I lined up the Steam description, the Total Jerkface footer, and the Fancy Force mobile FAQ on 1 October 2026. The gap that surprised me was not the ragdolls. It was the editor: Steam and the browser both have one, iOS has one, and Android’s is officially “on hold,” not removed.

Side by side

Achievement count (80) comes from the community release log, which says achievements exist only on Steam. I am marking that as a wiki figure.

Accounts and controllers

Steam’s description says an older Happy Wheels account can be tied to a Steam ID so the login follows you. Steam lists partial controller support, and the checked Steam Deck report was Playable, not Verified. The mobile FAQ’s iOS section says wireless controllers are not currently supported; it is not a verified Android compatibility matrix.

Questions

Does the Steam version have more levels?

Both point at the huge user-level pool. Steam adds date search and offline downloads. The official count in the Steam text is more than 5 million levels.

Is the JavaScript edition the same as Steam?

Same game idea and an editor on both. Steam adds achievements, cloud, controllers, and no ads, and it costs $4.99 in the US.

Why did the Android app remove the level editor?

Fancy Force’s mobile FAQ says the Android level editor is on hold. That is the official wording, not “removed.”
